Crank arms, spider, and chainrings - the Afterburner has been completely redesigned for higher performance than ever. Those svelte new arms are hollow-forged from tough aluminum and clamp to a 24mm or 30mm chromoly spindle for the ultimate rough-trail strength. Chainring bolts are also chromoly while clever design of the non-driveside arm eliminates the weak point of a pinchbolt. The outer chainring is CNC-machined from hard-wearing 7075 aluminum while the middle and inner are stamped from the same lightweight material. Overall weight is just 803 g. The sandblasted matte finish combines with polished highlights and sections of beautiful aluminum to exude a monolithic energy that belies its low weight. Subtle logos enhance the look. Laser etching means the graphics last whatever the weather throws at them.
