The key to the Strike guards is their Xelion elbow cap, Kali's answer to the ever-so-popular hex-style pad we're seeing all over the trails. The Xelion pad absorbs and dissipates impact energy while allowing air to move through, keeping you cooler than hard-shell pads. Underneath Kali's Xelion cap is a layer of EVA impact foam, much like you'll find in helmets, adding another layer of impact-absorbing protection. The Strike allows flex for bike handling on varied terrain and they stay in place with non-slip bands around the top and bottom.
